Andy is a warranty and quality systems engineer for Johnson Controls automotive. He was born in Sheffield and moved to Burton on Trent at 7 yrs of age. Andy’s organisational skills are put to good use by the Church in Burton. He is often called upon by Church leaders within the town to help organise events for the local communities. “this is where we choose to live, because we want to make a difference to the lives of people around us” |
Born and raised on Waterside, the third youngest in a family of 11 Children, Anita has a wealth of funny stories – and is currently writing a biography. For the past 12 years Anita has been employed as Manager for the Newstart ‘God’ shop in Stapenhill. Based in the heart of the community, Newstart is a second hand shop run by the Church in Burton with all the profits raised being given back into the local community. “I love the job if you can call it that, it’s more like nipping out to catch up with friends.” |
Andy and Anita have been married for almost 18 years. They have one very special daughter Joanne, who Anita had when just 18 years of age. Joanne has recently given birth to gorgeous little Scarlett Grace affectionately known as 'the Chops' |
